Activities

The soccer course will be comprehensive, covering all elements of the game including techniques, skills, phases of play and small sided games. All participants will be expected to take an active role in this element, so it is advised that participants have a good level of fitness before they attend.  The Technification Soccer Camp is aimed at children aged 10 to 17 years old, who are Club Licensed players. The goal is to widen the possibilities of technical training to young people who have reached a good soccer level.

  • On the first day, groups are established based on age and ability
  • Campers will have on average 3 - 4 hours of soccer per day (Monday thru Friday).
  • Excursions are planned to visit Madrid and the famous Real Madrid Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and Museum (weekend); also the Ciudad Real Madrid (Real Madrid training center at Valdebebas) and Real Madrid first team practice (subject to team availability)
  • Day and Night activities

The soccer coaches are all highly qualified staff from Real Madrid Fundacion and are, therefore, specialists in sport formation. They will teach participants how to improve their style, but most important they will teach them how to work and play as a team.

The program is approached from the perspective of a comprehensive training of the participant, and is based on four pillars:

  • Technical-tactical perspective. There will be a work plan for the participant to develop their skills in a dynamic, balanced and effective way, oriented to real soccer practice.
  • Motor and physical skills. They will learn, the importance of improved fitness, best training methods, the reasons thereof and the influence they have on their performance.
  • Health. To be aware of its importance in his sporting career. Workshops will be scheduled regarding injury prevention, nutrition, bandages, shoes and suitable surfaces.
  • Values education. By using an effective education method for them to be educated, not only as athletes, but more importantly as persons.

Special Appearance:

You will have a special visit during this Real Madrid soccer camp, Rafael García Cortés, Professional Spanish Soccer Player from 1978 to 1993 with Real Madrid (finalist 1981 European Champions League against Liverpool FC, winner 1982 Spanish Copa del Rey), Burgos, Real Zaragoza, Mallorca and Rayo Vallecano; former assistant coach of Real Madrid Castilla team (Real Madrid Professional 1st team reserve) and Technical Director of the Real Madrid Soccer Schools Programs.
Participants will have a great opportunity to ask him questions during the camp.
