What age group can attend Juventus Summer Camp?
Juventus Summer Camp is aimed at boys from 8 to 16 year-old.

My child does not play soccer at all. Can he apply anyway for the Summer Camp?
Juventus Summer Camp is aimed at boys from 8 to 16 year-old, who want to improve their game starting from any level. The coaching staff will follow each participant, taking his soccer skills into account.

My child is a goalkeeper. Are there any specific training courses for him?
Yes, of course. Juventus Summer Camp provides specific programmes for goalkeepers throughout all stages.

 

My child will attend be attending on his own, will be he OK?
Yes, most of the participants attend Juventus Summer Camps without any friends or family. In order to help their socialization, Juventus camps staff will take care of placing children of similar age in the same rooms.

Application process

When is the closing date for applications?
Applications are open until there are no slots left. Slots are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis.

What documents do I need to fill out?
To validate your reservation, we need to receive the following documents within 20 days of your phone reservation:

  • Application Form and informative note about any personal data processing that must be filled in and signed by a parent or a guardian;
  • A medical certificate from your doctor certifying that your child may take part in non-competitive sports;
  • 2 passport-sized pictures (or email digital photo)
  • A copy of your child's vaccination certificate;
  • A document testifying your family composition (self-certifications will be accepted);
  • A copy of the Sanitary Card from your National Health Service;
  • A copy of a valid passport.

The original documents (if required) must be delivered at the camp venue.

In all cases, on arrival at the camp, please remember to bring with you:

  • The original and valid passport;
  • A certificate issued from your doctor testifying the absence of infectious diseases (self-certifications will be accepted).

Are past participants asked to send all documents again?
Yes, they are asked to send all the required documents again.

Training Courses

Where are the coaching sessions going to take place?

  • In Sestriere, the coaching sessions will be held on the Municipal pitch located in Strada Azzurri d'Italia (in synthetic grass).
  • In Cascia, the coaching sessions will be held on a natural grass pitch owned by the Grand Hotel Elite located not far from the hotel in the Villa Marino Location.
  • In Roncegno Terme, the coaching sessions will be held in the local Training Complex, on a natural grass pitch, that is located around 500 metres from the hotel. Participants will be taken back and forth the pitch by a special bus.
  • In Vinovo, the coaching sessions will be held on a synthetic grass pitch at the official Juventus Training Center.

How many coaching sessions are there daily?
There are two coaching sessions per day, from Monday to Friday: one in the morning and one in the afternoon (except for Sunday, when the coaching session will take place only in the afternoon).

How long is a coaching session?
The length of the coaching sessions depends on the age group and the intensity of the previous coaching session.

What qualifications do the Juventus Summer Camp coaches have?
The Juventus Summer Camp staff is a group made up of coaches who have got the F.I.G.C. License and/or a degree in "Motor Sciences" at the Turin University; they have had a specialist education on further training by Juventus University. The safety and the wellness of each single participant is Juventus Soccer Schools' priority in selecting and training their team. For this reason, Juventus Camps has put in place a Child Protection Policy which each member of their team has to follow carefully during the Summer Camps. Every year, the entire team must follow mandatory courses where the Policy is properly explained into details.

My child wears eyeglasses: can he wear them during the coaching sessions?
If your child needs to wear glasses during the coaching session, he must wear special, protective anti-shock goggles, made with a celluloid frame and anti-break polycarbonate graduated lenses. This rule has been devised for the wellbeing of all participants: wearing glasses that are not suitable for sport activities is dangerous for both the child, who wears the glasses, and the other participants.

When can I phone my child?
The receptions of the hotels are operating around the clock.  The best calling times are in the afternoon from 1.45pm to 2.45pm or in the evening from 7.45pm to 8.45pm.

Will I be able to phone my child on his mobile phone?
We advise you not to give your child a mobile phone to avoid inconveniences to him. Furthermore, all mobile telephones must be switched off during all group activities (training, free time, recreation and meals) to permit the proper progress of the activities.

Are parents allowed to stay in children' hotel?

No, Juventus Camps hotels are strictly reserved for the participants. Juventus Summer Camp organization is not able to find hotel accommodation for parents. Those who wish to find accommodation near his child's camp venue, can contact the following numbers:

What to Bring

What should I put in my child's suitcase before leaving for the Summer Camp?
We advise you to pack at least one week's worth of underwear, a bathrobe, a pair of gym shoes and flip-flops for the shower. The kit that the camp will provide for your child consists of a tracksuit that is suitable for all free time activities. In any case, we do advise parents to supply their children with additional personal clothing and to put a nametape on it.

For camps in Sestriere, Cascia and Roncegno Terme we advise participants to pack a slighter warmer jacket.

And what do I need to pack for the coaching sessions?
Each participant will receive a training kit consisting of two short-sleeved t-shirts, two pairs of shorts, two pairs of socks, a short-sleeve polo, a tracksuit, a backpack and a cap.

Participants must take their own shin guards and soccer boots with them. Two pairs of football boots (metal or rubber studs) for the Camps in Roncegno Terme and Cascia, where the pitch is in natural grass; rubber studded boots for the Camps in Sestriere and Vinovo, where the pitch is in the last generation synthetic grass.

Will my child receive two training kits, if he is participating for two weeks?
No, just one training kit will be given to participants, who are going to spend two weeks.

Can participants keep the training kit after the Camp??
Yes, of course, participants can keep it. The kit is indeed part of the application fee.

Is a laundry service available?
Yes, a laundry service is available for any personal clothing item.

Special Requirements

My child has to follow a specific diet for health reasons. Will that be a problem for your programme?
Certainly! Please, state clearly your child's diet in the space provided in the application form. Juventus Camps experts will prepare special menus that meet your child needs.

My child takes prescription medication - should I inform you about this?
Yes, please be sure to indicate in the application form any medication that your son is taking. The Juventus Camp ensure you that all the technical and medical staff will take care of his needs properly.

My child will participate in the Summer Camp with some friends. Is it possible for them to share the same room?
Please, indicate in the application form the names of both, your child and the friends whom he wants to share the room with. The Juventus Summer Camp staff will fix it for them.

Program

When are expected arrival and departure times for the Summer Camp?
Arrivals are from 1:30pm to 3:30pm on Sundays. Departures are on Saturday morning, usually after the final ceremony, at about 1:00pm.

Is there a member of the staff always on hand to help the participant, should they need it?
The Juventus Summer Camp Staff is on hand 24 hours a day to ensure continuous assistance throughout the duration of the camp.

Is there anybody supervising the participants during the night?
Yes, we have attendants in every camp, who are available overnight.

Is it allowed for parents to visit the hotel the day of the arrival?
Yes, parents are allowed to visit the hotel, helping their children to find their rooms and unpack their luggage.

My child is participating for two weeks in the Summer Camp: will the staff take care of him during the transition period between one week to the other?
Of course, the Juventus Summer Camp is always open. Part of our staff works during the weekends in order to take care of all participants who will stay for two consecutive weeks of our Summer Camp.
