Each week on their residential courses every group takes the skills tests which are adjusted to reflect the participants age. The winner of each group takes a final skills test to determine who goes through to the International Final.

BCSSA summer residential soccer camp welcomed every year visitors from over 40 different nations and provided a truly International experience for all of the players who visited. All of BCSSA courses utilize their original Soccer Theme Park coaching equipment, which includes dribbling mannequins, free kick walls, mini arenas and passing gates.

Children can attend for a minimum of 5 days (Sunday to Friday) to any number of weeks. However, BCSSA would recommend that you stay no longer than 2 weeks as this can prove tiring, you are welcome to stay longer if you wish.

On all BCSSA courses, BCSSA make sure that each individual’s needs are met. BCSSA provide a safe, secure and disciplined environment, where each child matters. You can be assured that BCSSA staff will get to know the young people in their groups and make sure that they have the time of their lives.

Option: English Classes as a Second Language

Many of BCSSA International students come to the camp to improve their English Language skills alongside their football course. How amazing is the motivational power of soccer, which allows youngsters to study through a medium they thoroughly enjoy and in which they are both knowledgeable and confident.

While BCSSA are the experts in their field at Soccer they have teamed up with the prestigious Manchester Central School of English (a leader in delivering English Language courses) to deliver the English language element of our courses.

Manchester Central School of English opened in 2005 in Manchester City Centre and, since then, have been welcoming students from all over the world to their warm and friendly school. They are accredited by the British Council – which is your assurance of a quality English school. They are also members of EnglishUK and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce

Each course is centered around the needs of each pupil and the program is challenging, realistic and attainable. At the beginning of each course some time will be spent assessing the child’s English language ability, and from that an individualized learning programme will be arranged.

All aspects of the programme will be delivered in truly international classes with many opportunities to mix and converse with British youngsters, on the football pitch and more informally in a social environment.

For those attending English Language and Soccer courses, the English language will replace either the morning or afternoon soccer coaching session.
