Welcome to the Bolton Wanderers Football Club International
Academy
A warm welcome is extended to all participants and
their parents, who are attending Bolton Wanderers International Academy
Courses.
"This is a great opportunity to visit and invite
young talented players on BWFC International Academy courses, and have an
opportunity to display their skills in a secure learning environment. The
players welfare, education and medical needs are as important to BWFC
International Academy as is their technical ability and coaching
requirements.
All young players dream about playing in Cup Finals
and winning Championships. BWFC International Academy coaches will strive
to bring out the qualities required to succeed. Ability, fitness
determination and dedication are obvious requirements, but attitude and
discipline are of paramount importance. The overriding factor for BWFC
International Academy
courses is to have FUN. The game is there to be enjoyed, BWFC
International Academy encourage boys
to play with a "smile on their faces" and in a relaxed, confident manner,
so that their true potential can be realized."

Bolton Wanderers International Academy are committed to
helping young footballers raise their technical, physical, mental and
tactical skills to the highest possible standards by providing an
enjoyable, exciting and stimulating environment with quality supervision.
BWFC International Academy also strive to develop the players sense of self
esteem, motivation and desire to learn via coaching and education.

All players on every Bolton Wanderers Academy Residential
sessions compete in a skills contest. The winner of each
course will be invited to appear at the Reebok Stadium in
Bolton, England and
compete in a Grand Skills final in front of Bolton Wanderers
home fans.
The overall winner of the competition will receive:
- A 1 week Residential Course
- A signed home shirt signed by the 2008/2009 Bolton squad
- Players showing potential will be offered a weeks trial
at Bolton successful Academy
All players who make it to the final will receive:
- Bolton Wanderers certificate of attendance
- Spot prizes

Bolton Wanderer's International Academy are pleased
to announce that for the Summer 2009 Residential they will be using the
terrific facilities of
Bradford
College with its fantastic new state of the art sporting and dining
facilities.
Boasting a superb location direct in Bradford City
Centre approximately 40 minutes from the Reebok Stadium, Bolton
Wanderers International Academy will be exclusively the first to use
this facility.
The new building has cost a staggering £14.5 million
in construction costs amounting up to a total spend of £19.4million. The
facility covers approximately 9000m2 with Sport taking 40% in floor
space.
The Sports Facilities includes a 1000m2 Sports Hall,
Sports and Fitness Laboratories, a Fitness and Testing Suite and a
Dedicated Sport Theory Room, an Aerobics and Dance Studio, Multi-use
Games Area, 2 Basket Ball Courts, three 5-a-side Pitches and a Full size
Football Pitch.

Bolton Wanderers’ International Academy Coaches are all highly qualified
FA Coaches, trained in the latest pioneering coaching techniques used by
Bolton’s first team, right throughout their Youth Academy.
Their Coaches are experts in talent Identification, developing technical
ability and team tactical play. They combine knowledge of the game with
child development through fun-filled technical sessions, that create a
positive safe healthy learning environment.
Not only are professional club coaches important in the development of the
player, at Bolton Wanderers’ International Academy they also use their
advancement in sports science that the first team use:

Sports Psychologists who deliver a series of sessions
taken from the first team delivery, that will include, personal
profiles, self talk, imagery etc

Football specific conditioning coaches, expert in their
field of instruction in physically conditioning players, who will
fitness test them and measure their scores against their very own Academy
players

For those staying for a 7 day period, the weekend will include
some coaching sessions however, these will be more fun based, also
during the weekend you will have the option to go offsite to visit
Blackpool, a holiday town with the UK’s biggest Pleasure Beach
Airport
Transfer Information
Bolton Wanderers International Academy provides a negotiated transfer service from Manchester
International (MAN) Airport to Bradford College.
All transfers must be pre-arranged. After collecting their
luggage, students proceed through customs. Students are then met
by a representative of Bolton Wanderers International
Academy who will be displaying a large sign. The students would be met at
the airport upon arrival and taken to a meeting point where they
will wait for the transfer shuttle to the camp.
From here
students will be transported to their residential Bolton
Wanderers International Academy center.

It is of vital
importance that all necessary flight/train details are sent to Soccer Camps International with the booking information or as soon as available.
Bolton Wanderers International Academy requires the exact flight
information, including dates, airlines, arrival and departure
terminal, flight numbers and
flight times. This service must be booked no later than 4 weeks
prior to the start of the course.
